James Henry Creed was the fifth generation of the father-son lineage that is said to have run the house of Creed since 1760. He is purported to have been the one to begin the association between Creed and celebrities and politicians, and legend has it that he was commissioned by Prince Ranier of Monaco to create Fleurissimo for his wedding to Grace Kelly.
He makes the House’s first inroads in servicing celebrity clientele and the political elite.

At the request of Winston Churchill, Tabarome Millesime is created, and later released to the public in 1999. A take on the original Tabarome fragrance, Churchill’s version contains notes of tobacco.
